This is one of my all time favourite eye shadows, the colour is super pretty, super summery. The little pots retail at £19 and it’s probably worth saying I’ve had this one for a long time and am no where near finishing it (it also hasn’t dried out or gone gunky at all) I don’t usually use cream shadows, I prefer a powder, but I own two of these from Bobbi Brown. They really do go on and stay on! No creasing here!
The Bobbi Brown website suggests these eye shadows are also heat, sweat and water resistant. I’ve not been swimming in them, but they do certainly last through the heat! I apply an eyelid primer before applying eye shadow as a rule and always do with these as well. You could probably get away without using one as they are a lovely creamy texture.
The colour is a lavender tint with a hint of shimmer. I apply with a mini Bobbi Brown flat eye shadow brush. It goes on as a cream then sort of sets and dries within about thirty seconds (I guess this is how it doesn’t crease or shift at all). I think I may have bought this one at the time I had a bridal makeup consultation, it’s that kind of subtle, pretty go anywhere shade.
Loves – great value for money, easy to apply and stays on
Not so Loves – it’s not buildable so you are not likely to get a real hit of colour, think subtle and not Pat Butcher!
Overall – a great addition to your summer eye shadow wardrobe
