Wild About Beauty – eyeshadow review

Eva - Wlid About Beauty
Eva – Wlid About Beauty

Well now what do we have here?!  This cute as a button, or should I say bee eyeshadow is Eva from Wild Bout Beauty (http://wildaboutbeauty.com/eyes/powder/powder-eye-shadow).  Wild About Beauty is a joint venture between Louise Rednap and makeup artist Kim Jacob.  The products are paraben free and contain nourishing ingredients, to enhance skin through traditional make up performance, but  alongside skin friendly properties.  The idea behind the ‘Wild About’ bit is more about harnessing the awesome power of nature (think thunderstorms and waterfalls rather than cute fluffy dormice!).

For my introduction to the brand I chose one of their simple highly pigmented eyeshadows.  These little lovelies retail at £13 and come in a sizeable 2.5g pot (you’ll never run out of one of these!).  The colours available are all quite earthy and natural colours.  I went for Eva, which is a mid to deep brown.  I found the shadow to be buildable while very pigmented, a little goes along way, but isn’t scary on application!

The eyeshadows are formulated with vitamins E and C along with aloe vera.  Just look at that packaging!  The bee design is just beautiful and the little mirror rather handy!  I’ve got my eyes on some of the other shades, particularly, Rowan and Paradise.

I love this brand, what a find!  I’m looking forward to trying some other things in the range, they do some really nice kits!

Loves – a lovely shadow in a true mid brown, in to die for cute as a button packaging

Not so Loves – you can only buy online, although I think some House of Fraser carry the range.  They are also pretty expensive.

Overall – a great little eyeshadow
