A nightime eye care treat!

Organic eye care!
Organic eye care!

So I very recently discovered health food shop brand Dr Organic, my review of their fabulous Dead Sea Mineral Mask is here.  I loved that mask so I thought I’d try another skincare product from a different range.  I adore really good eye creams, lotions and potions and given how fabulous the results of the mask were, I opted for their Royal Jelly Eye Serum.

This is what Dr Organic say ‘Royal Jelly’s epigenetic properties make it a revolutionary bioactive ingredient, perfect in natural skincare. Combining this unique action with a blend of moisturising bioactive, natural and organic ingredients provides an unrivalled serum ideal for supporting the appearance of the delicate skin around the eyes.’

This serum is completely unperfumed, incredibly gentle and I’d say fantastic for super sensitive eyes and skin.  I have been using for a week now, exclusively at night.  It goes on like a serum / moisturising hybrid.  It seriously has helped with the dark circles I have developed since having my son!  I haven’t seen a dramatic decrease in fine lines, but I wouldn’t expect to after such a short period of time.  The main point about this serum is that it’s just so darn moisturising!  It’s exceptionally pleasant to use, sorts out any dry patches straight away, sinks in and is not sticky at all.

For the price this serum could easily compete with high end organic skin care.  I love that it’s really gentle and of course created from naturally derived ingredients.  Royal Jelly is supposed to be very restorative and nurturing, and this is just what this product achieves.

Dr Organic Royal Jelly Eye Serum is available from Holland and Barret for £9.49.

Loves – a great price for a high quality product.  Lovely and nourishing.

Not so Loves – the packaging is a little drug store, given the quality of the product it would be nice to have more luxurious packaging.

Overall – a fabulous repeat purchase for us sensitive types!
