This Saturday just gone was Burwash Manor in Cambridgeshire’s annual Apple Day. What could be more English than a whole day devoted to the celebration of apples?! We haven’t been for about four or five years, so this year was very exciting as it was our first Apple Day as three! The day is full of all things apple, apple tasting, cider drinking, apple identification, music, entertainment and great food. We enjoyed sampling some scrummy apples, discovering the churro van, stone baked pizza and laughing along with the entertainment! My photos of our best bits are below. If you are anywhere near Cambridgeshire in October 2017 and love apples, be sure to make time for this festival! All the details can be found here: http://www.burwashmanor.com
Burwash Manor is great at any time of the year, the little independent shops are delightful and I confess to being a regular at Dragonfly dah spa! The village of Barton where you can find Burwash is also really close to our heart’s as we got married in St Peter’s, the village church.
